meet our Doula team
Growing tired of seeing women and babies being silenced by the birth system, I decided to take action and pursue a passion in being a doula in 2016. I have earned a B.S. in Psychology and with a minor in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, training from Madriella, and a background heavy in child care, nannying and tutoring. My goal is to change the views, energy and conversation around birth, encourage women to take charge of their experience, and to include more families of color, parents expecting multiples, and all members of the LGBTQ community. I hope to serve as a emotional, spiritual, and physical support, as well as an asset and resource for the Houston area families and surrounding cities.
